UPDATED, FLOWERING TURKESTAN

In the Ethno-memorial complex “Map of Kazakhstan “Atameken”a round table was held on the topic:”The spiritual capital of the Turkic world is sacred Turkestan”, devoted to the program article of the Head of State “Course towards the future: modernization of Kazakhstan’s identity”.

“Every nation, every independent state should know its own where the spiritual center of the country is located. The spiritual center of Kazakhstan is Turkestan” – said Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev of a land that has a rich history for more than 1500 years. We have witnessed wonderful holy places with rich rivers, lakes and mountains, forests and desert arrays.

During the meeting, stories about the sacred land were touched upon, and they also told about the present day of the city of Turkestan. Along with this, reviews were conducted about the cultural foci of the region and the priceless wealth of our people – cultural heritage.

Nowdays, we know that the constant debt of each inhabitant of this area is a contribution to the development of the city of Turkestan, which is the center of regional property. In the future, the cultural capital of the Turkic world – Turkestan will contribute to the development of Kazakh culture.
