THE ART PALACE “SHABYT”

The art palace “Shabyt” is located on the left bank of the Esil River in the new administrative center of Astana, not far from the building of the “Kazakhstan” Concert Hall. This building, which occupies an important role in the new history of the country, is built in the form of a tribune, there are sports halls with exercise equipment, universal concert halls for 300 and 500 seats, exhibition complexes, rehearsal halls, libraries, creative houses of artists and composers, dance zones, children’s art classes, typography, cafes and administrative buildings. There is also children’s music, cinematography, performing arts, detective schools, also “Oner” classes, the Nomad art center, creative unions of journalists, architects, designers. The center of art “Shabyt” is the largest unique complex uniting all talented and creative people of an independent country. The total area of the palace is 30 thousand square meters. The building is managed by the Kazakh National University of Arts in Astana.
