THE STELA “EUROPE-ASIA”

The monument “Europe-Asia” is located on the right side of the Ural River coast. The monument “Europe-Asia” is the blue border, which is separating these two parts of the world. The stela was installed in 1984. The author of the monument project is A. Golubev, Yu.G. Khakalo, A.I. Kononov.
The monument “Europe-Asia” is a stele consisting of three vertical elements, on which two reinforced concrete belts and a decorative ornamental element are strung. The entire composition is completed with a ball symbolizing a globe encircled with the “Europe-Asia” volume inscription. The height of the stele is 15.4 meters, the width of the belt is 3.76 m.
