The mosque “NUR-GASYR”
The mosque in Aktobe was open in 2008. The author of the project is Honored Architect of the Republic of Tatarstan Aivar Sattarov. The building of the mosque, including the basement and technical floors, consists of 5 levels. At the 1st underground level there is the entrance hall of the main entrance, the marriage registration hall, madrasa training rooms, administrative premises, in the 2nd floor – cloakroom, men’s and women’s ablutions, 2 halls for holding funeral lunches. The prayer hall is designed for 4500 people. The height of the dome of the mosque is 40m, the domes of 4 minarets 60m high each are covered with gold leaf. The facade of the mosque is decorated with marble. The total area of the mosque is 5.5 thousand square meters. The construction area is 400 thousand square meters.
